Bottling Day Template

Equipment: bottles, caps (and capper or carbonater), racking cane, bucket and spigot and bottle filler, hydrometer, iodophor, sugar

Steps:

1. Sanitize all equipment
2. Rack to bucket with spigot
3. Measure FG
4. Given the ratio __ cups sugar per __ cups water and for __ pints beer, boil __ cups water and add __ cups sugar (generally this is 3/4 to 1 cup sugar per 2 cups water for 5 gallons/40 pints beer)
5. Measure sugar mixture volume and calculate division according to bottle conditioned bottles
6. Add sugar mixture to bottles that will be bottle conditioned
7. Fill bottles and cap
8. Measure FG, if haven't already
